About NextGen Engineers Academy

Mission and Vision

At NextGen Engineers Academy, our mission is to bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world engineering. We believe students learn best by building, testing, creating, and solving real problems through hands-on experiences inspired by the engineering industry.

Our programs are designed to introduce students to the fields of Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Robotics Systems through project-based learning and practical engineering concepts. Students develop not only technical skills, but also teamwork, creativity, problem-solving, and presentation confidence; skills that are essential in real engineering environments.

In addition to our long-term engineering programs, NGEA also offers weekend workshops and camps for students of different age groups. These workshops provide exciting opportunities for students to explore engineering through fun, interactive projects in electronics, robotics, and design.

Our Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Robotics programs are structured as dedicated learning tracks held during the week, allowing students to progressively build their knowledge and gain deeper exposure to real engineering workflows and systems.

At NGEA, we are building more than workshops and classes, we are building a pathway for the next generation of engineers, innovators, and future industry leaders.

Why Choose NextGen Engineers Academy?

At NGEA, students go beyond traditional classroom learning by building real engineering projects inspired by industry workflows in electronics, robotics, and mechanical systems.

Industry Inspired Learning

Our programs are designed to introduce students to how engineering works in real-world environments through practical design, problem-solving, testing, and system integration experiences.

Hands-On Project Experience

Students actively build, wire, assemble, prototype, and test engineering projects while learning core technical concepts through direct hands-on experience.

Small Group Learning Environment

We focus on maintaining small workshop and program sizes to provide students with individualized guidance, mentorship, and a more engaging learning experience.

Teamwork & Presentation Skills

In addition to technical development, students strengthen communication, collaboration, and presentation confidence by working in teams and presenting their engineering projects.

What age groups does NGEA support?

NGEA offers weekend engineering workshops and camps for elementary, middle school, and high school students.

Our weekday Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Robotics Systems programs are designed specifically for high school students who want deeper exposure to real world engineering fields before choosing a college major or career pathway. These programs are intended to help students better understand how engineering works in industry environments and make more informed decisions about their future academic and professional goals.

Do students need prior engineering experience?

No prior experience is required for most beginner workshops. If a workshop or program requires previous experience or specific technical knowledge, it will be clearly mentioned in the workshop description. Programs are designed to support different experience levels and learning backgrounds.

What do students build in the workshops?

Students work on hands-on engineering projects involving electronics, robotics, mechanical systems, circuits, and design-based activities.

Are the workshops hands-on?

Yes. Students actively build, wire, assemble, test, and present engineering projects during workshops and programs.

Where are the workshops held?

Workshops are currently planned to be held in the Glendale, California area. Final location details and workshop address information will be provided during registration and confirmation.

Are workshop materials included?

Yes. Required workshop materials and project components are included unless otherwise specified.

How many students are in each workshop?

NGEA focuses on small group learning environments to provide students with more individualized guidance, mentorship, and hands-on support throughout each project. Most workshops are expected to be limited to approximately 4 to 8 students per session.
